📜 Terms & Conditions

Welcome to CD Moments. By booking a session or browsing this website (cd-moments.co.za), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure clarity, professionalism, and mutual respect throughout our working relationship.

  1. Booking & Payment
    A non-refundable booking fee of 50% or agreed amount is required to secure your date.

The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the session or event date.

For weddings and events, dates are not confirmed until the deposit is received and the agreement is signed.

  1. Cancellations & Rescheduling
    Cancellations must be made in writing to bookings@cd-moments.co.za.

Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable if rescheduled within 3 months, subject to availability.

In the unlikely event CD Moments is unable to attend, a suitable replacement photographer will be offered, or a full refund will be issued.

  1. Image Delivery & Turnaround
    Standard turnaround time is 2–4 weeks for Lifestyle sessions, 6–8 weeks for Weddings and 6-8 weeks for Prints after approval has been given by client.

Final images will be delivered via a private online gallery or USB (as per your package).

RAW (unedited) files are not provided.

  1. Copyright & Usage
    CD Moments retains full copyright of all images.

Clients receive a personal use license: you may print and share your images for personal use only.

Commercial use, resale, or third-party publication requires written permission and licensing.

  1. Artistic Style & Editing
    By booking CD Moments, you agree to the artistic vision and editing style (soft, romantic, and timeless).

Edits include colour correction, light retouching, and cropping. Additional retouching requests may incur a fee.

  1. Client Responsibility
    It is the client’s responsibility to arrive on time, prepared, and dressed appropriately for the session.

Locations requiring permits or entrance fees must be arranged and paid by the client in advance.

CD Moments is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, or client tardiness.

  1. Limitation of Liability
    CD Moments takes the utmost care with your images and equipment.

In the rare case of data loss, equipment failure, or unforeseen events, liability is limited to the amount paid for the session or event.

  1. Social Media & Portfolio Usage
    CD Moments reserves the right to use selected images for marketing, portfolio, website, and social media unless otherwise requested in writing by the client before the session.
  2. Privacy Policy
    Your information is kept confidential and is never shared with third parties.

Email and contact details are used solely for communication and updates related to your booking.

  1. Governing Law
    These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes will be handled in accordance with local jurisdiction.
